No. Caffeine is found in the coffee bean and cherry, not the woody branch used for the chew. KofiBone contains no added caffeine.
Moderate chewers such as Goldens, Labs and Doodles often get 3–6 weeks. Power chewers such as Pitties, Shepherds, Mals and Boxers may get 1–3 weeks. Soft-mouthed senior dogs may use one for 6+ weeks.
Every dog is different. If the chew disappears faster than expected, size up.
Heavy chewers generally need a Large or XL KofiBone. Choosing a chew that is too small allows more crushing pressure, so when in doubt, size up and supervise every session.
Normal chewing can produce fine fibers and small flakes. Larger pieces should not be swallowed. Always choose the correct size, supervise your dog and remove the chew if it becomes small enough to swallow whole or develops a large or sharp piece.
KofiBone is dry, naturally low-odor and should not stain under normal use. Fine wood pulp or flakes can be vacuumed or swept away after a chewing session.
Some dogs need an introduction. Rub a small amount of dog-safe peanut butter on one end, offer it during a calm moment and let your dog investigate at their own pace. Remove it when the supervised session ends.
